Description: West Meadow Beach Trustees Road, Stony Brook, NY  
Meet at the kiosk at the entrance to Trustees Road.  

We will scope the water for lingering waterfowl, then bird both sides along Trustees Road occasionally taking  brief detours to explore within the maritime shrub woodland and West Meadow Creek on the opposite side.  As we return, we will search the skies and shore for recently returned Piping Plovers and Osprey.   There is no fee during the off season.

Walk is about 2 miles and will last about 3 hours.  Bring water and a snack if desired.  Inclement weather cancels the walk.  If cancelled, an email will be sent out to those who have registered, and a notice will be posted on Facebook.
