Shorebird Identification Workshop with Mike Cooper

Zoom Webinar

Description: Mike Cooper is back in live and virtual form! Shorebirds are, as a group, present on Long Island pretty much year round. An active birder here can expect to see over 30 species of shorebirds in a good year. But even with good, close views, many species can be challenging to sort out. Join us for a Zoom webinar with guest speaker, Join Mike Cooper as we work through our confusing array of pipers and plovers with some tips for observing and identifying these interesting and diverse members of our avifauna.

See field trip page for walk portion of workshop - registration is required for both.
