SANDS POINT PRESERVE (Joint bird walk with NSAS)

Description: SANDS POINT PRESERVE (Joint bird walk with NSAS)                       

The 216-acre preserve is located on the original early 20th century Guggenheim Estate and includes a mix of natural and landscaped areas.  We’ll bird through diverse habitats that include woods, open fields, and pond.  

NSAS leaders:  Peggy and Jennifer.  Meet in parking lot.

Email fourharborsheron@gmail.com to register for these walks, or if you are interested in carpooling or driving carpool car to the Sands Point walk. Please email to let leader know if you will attend walk at the later time.

Upon arrival, line up along entry road.  Gate person will let everyone in at 7:30. For later arrivals, tell gate person you are with North Shore Audubon, and they will let you in.  Go to stop sign, and head to the right where other cars are parked.  One of the leaders will come back to collect the later arrivals.
