Description: Members Only: WINTER SEA DUCKS AND ALCIDS - Montauk Field Trip

John Turner will lead a trip to Montauk Point. We’ll be looking for winter birds: loons, sea ducks, alcids such as Razorbills and murres, seals, etc. Park in the Montauk Point State Park upper parking lot and walk up to the Pavilion where we will meet. We'll bird the tip and then head west stopping to walk the seal haul-out trail. On the way back, we might make additional stops to look for reported highlights. Afterwards we will stop by the Lazy Point home of Carl Safina and Patricia Paladines for some warm refreshments and cookies. MEMBERS ONLY. Reservations required.
