Birding 101 - Autumn Lecture

Description: If you're a new birder or want to start birding you might find the activity a bit daunting. How do you go about identifying birds and how do you begin to think about identifying birds? In this presentation John Turner will provide a logical framework and some ideas and tips he has developed to make birding a bit easier to implement and practice.

John Turner is a Long Island naturalist, conservationist, writer, and a founding member of the Long Island Nature Organization and Long Island Pine Barrens Society.  He currently serves as a Conservation Policy Advocate for the Seatuck Environmental Association and Conservation Chair of the Four Harbors Audubon Society.

Free and open to all. Reservations required.  To join this Zoom presentation, you must register in advance.
