The Migratory Bird Treaty Act—our country's most important bird-protection law—is facing its most serious attack yet. In 2018, New York led eight other states in filing a lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s decision to eliminate longstanding protections for waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. The administration has recently moved to gut the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) for good, and Audubon’s strongest response is essential now. Please join us and your elected officials to oppose the rollback of the MBTA to protect the billions of birds that rely on this bedrock law.  Please see more information on Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
