This young Peregrine photographed at Heckscher State Park on September 9, 2019, was one of two male nestlings that were banded on 5-22-19. The banding took place in Providence, R.I. atop an unoccupied building known as the Superman Building. Peregrines have successfully nested in a nest box structure at the 30th floor level since the year 2000. A total of 61 nestlings have been banded. During breeding season, you can view nesting Peregrines via a webcam set up by Audubon Society Rhode Island at this link: asri.org.
